(I voted against Dukakis and held my nose when I voted for Kerry. I could not bring myself to vote for either Reagan or Carter. I have since gained more respect for both of the latter two.)

When too much money is in the hands of too few people, it is not good for the economy. When everyone does better, everyone does better.

“Kenny Boy” Lay, GW Bush’s earliest and staunchest supporter, was in the process of building a palace for himself to rival the Hearst Castle with his ill-gotten gains when ENRON went belly up ruining the lives of thousands as their pensions went up in smoke. So much for making our CEOs even richer so some money can trickle down.

Eliminating tax cuts for the rich is a step in the right direction. Getting us out of the very, very expensive war that Obama opposed from the start will be helpful also.

I lived through those years and remember 18 percent interest mortages. I’m worried it will happen again. Carter may be a good christian man, but he was terrible president for the country.

You’re a minister, right? Do you honestly doubt that Carter is a faithful Christian? You disagree with his politics, but can you really justify the rude, if not hateful, way you speak of a brother in Christ?

Wow. How strange. Elrod censors my comments as well….only when they are critical of him or his cronies.

How would you like to have him as a Political Science Professor? Someone who is that closed minded? Someone who gets his kicks out of making sure only his point gets across? I can tell you from personal experience that his classroom is just like his blog. He would always open his class by talking about current events but if you brought up a Liberal issue that made them look bad (in the 90’s there were quite a few) he would either dismiss it or wouldn’t have time to get into it (but he had all the time in the world to bash Conservatives). What a weenie!

The only reason he ever won the Senate seat in NC is because his opponent was an idiot and either Burt or Ernie could have beat him.

He is fun to make fun of because there is no way he will even get close to the nomination.
