Obama on Abortion

Lee Wilson has an interesting post on Barack Obama and abortion.  You can read the entire post HERE.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Take Barack Obama for example. According to a recent story by Terence Jeffrey of the Cybercast News Service, Barack Obama “is so pro-abortion that he refused as an Illinois state senator to support legislation to protect babies who survived late-term abortions,” Jeffrey writes. He said Obama “did not want to concede — as he explained in a cold-blooded speech on the Illinois Senate floor — that these babies, fully outside their mothers’ wombs, with their hearts beating and lungs heaving, were in fact ‘persons.’

On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator of either party to speak against the baby-protecting bills, Jeffrey reported.

Obama was so cold hearted that he sat through the testimony of Jill Stanek, a nurse who shared a terrible story of a botched abortion where the baby’s cries could be heard down the hall. The “parents” did not want to hold their mortally-wounded child because they did not want him in the first place. Another nurse placed the dying child in a soiled utility room to die. These are Jill’s words about those moments:

“I couldn’t bear the thought of this suffering child lying alone in a Soiled Utility Room, so I cradled and rocked him for the 45 minutes that he lived.”

What have we become?! What has Barack Obama become that he listened to that and was the only senator, Republican or Democrat, that was opposed to there being any kind of value assigned to a baby who survived an abortion. No pain killers, no attempt to save that young life, he wanted the status quo to remain in tact where those crying children would be left to die — and he got his way in Illinois.”

Interesting.  I wonder how he reconciles this with his faith in Jesus?  I wish someone in the mainstream media would ask him some hard questions about this.  But they won’t.  How about the so-called Faithful Democrats or Democrats for Life?  Why don’t they call him on this?  Are they blinded by their Obamagasms?
